What is Carer-Sync?

Carer-Sync connects Filipino care seekers with professional caregivers. Families can find, hire, and coordinate carers for their elderly or unwell loved ones — while carers can build a profile, browse job listings, and manage daily care tasks in one place.

The platform supports two distinct roles — Care Seeker and Caregiver — each with a tailored home screen, navigation, and feature set.

Test Credentials

Twenty pre-seeded demo accounts are available — 10 care seekers and 10 caregivers. Use any of the emails below with the shared demo password.

Signing In

1. Go to the app and click Sign in on the login screen.
2. Enter any demo email from the table above and the password Demo@Carer-Sync1.
3. You are redirected to your role-specific home screen automatically.

Creating a New Account

1. Click Create account on the login screen.
2. Enter your first name, last name, email, phone number, and a password (min 8 characters).
3. On the onboarding screen, choose your role: Care Seeker or Caregiver.
4. Your profile and a default care plan are created automatically.

Navigation

Today (Home)

Shows the patient's name, conditions, and the assigned carer's details (name, location, rate, skills). If no carer is assigned yet, a Find button leads to the marketplace.

Care Plan

A chronological list of care activities (meals, medication, sanitation) for the patient. Tasks can be marked complete by the assigned carer. A default 7-activity plan is seeded on account creation.

Find Carer

Two tabs:

• Browse Carers — view all available caregiver profiles with bio, location, rate, skills, and years of experience. Send a connection request with a message.
• My Posts — create and manage care request listings (job posts). Specify care type, location, schedule, budget range, and required skills. Carers can apply to these listings.

Care Bot

Powered by DeepSeek. Answers health and caregiving questions in English, Filipino, or Taglish. Cites Mayo Clinic sources where applicable and always includes a medical disclaimer. Requires Plus plan or above.

Navigation

Tasks (Home)

Shows today's care activities for the assigned patient. A shortcut card links to the carer's public profile for quick editing.

Find Work

A job board of active care request listings posted by seekers. Each listing shows care type, location, schedule, budget range, and required skills. Carers can apply with a cover message.

Requests & Profile

Two tabs:

• Requests — incoming connection requests from seekers. Accept to create an assignment (you become the patient's carer). Decline to reject.
• Profile — edit your public profile: display name, bio, location, daily rate, years of experience, skills, and availability toggle.
